CAMERA RESOURCE
IP camera compatibility: documented versus tested
Compatibility starts with a documented camera endpoint and a reachable network. It ends with a test on the exact camera, firmware and app version.
No physical-camera compatibility is confirmed for the app yet. Current app demonstrations use H.264 fixture video in the simulator.
Exact models before an app test
These documented candidates still need physical-camera tests. A model fact is not an app compatibility verdict.

- Find the camera’s exact model and firmware.
- Confirm RTSP, ONVIF or an HTTP image endpoint in its official documentation.
- Record the stream codec, configured port and camera account.
- Check reachability from your iPhone or iPad on the intended network.

Capabilities need separate tests
Discovery, live video, audio, pan/tilt/zoom controls and recording playback are separate features. A working stream in another viewer does not confirm that all of them work here.
