DEVELOPMENT JOURNAL
What our camera viewing demo proves
On this page
The current app brief reports simulator demonstrations of manual RTSP setup, H.264 fixture playback, saving a camera and full-screen viewing. Physical-camera compatibility still needs separate tests.

The current demonstration
The supplied development brief describes manual RTSP setup, decoded H.264 fixture video, saving a camera and full-screen viewing. A fixture is prepared test media. It helps exercise app behavior under known conditions.
The website's illustrated phone uses demo scenes. It is a design preview approved for replacement with genuine app captures. It is not a screenshot, recording or physical-camera test.
What the demonstration leaves unanswered
A physical camera adds its own firmware, authentication, stream path and network behavior. An app handling prepared video does not establish that it connects to every device serving that video format. It also does not establish ONVIF discovery, audio, PTZ controls or recording playback.
The compatibility reference keeps manufacturer documentation separate from these app tests. Each camera resource states the scope and limits of the documented connection route.
The next evidence to collect
A useful hardware result records the exact model, firmware, app version, codec, endpoint type and network route. Each feature needs its own observation. A connection opening and live video playing are different outcomes; saved recordings or controls add further questions.
The setup library prepares these details without claiming that the hardware tests have already happened. The address checker reads URL fields only. It cannot contact a camera or validate a password.
Read development labels literally
“Documented” means a manufacturer or standards source describes a capability. “Demonstrated” on this website refers to the simulator evidence reported in the brief. “App-tested” needs an actual test record, which is not available for physical cameras here.
The development page is the current product-status reference. Prices, subscription feature boundaries and an App Store release date remain undecided.
